Rarione Maniece is a morning anchor and producer on Good Morning Charlottesville. She joined CBS19 as a producer in January 2017.
Rarione obtained a Master of Science in multimedia journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is also a graduate from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, where she earned her undergraduate degree in communications and a minor in information technology systems
She’s had the opportunity to cover topics such as the Virginia General Assembly, Charlottesville Unite the Right Rally, a Medal of Honor ceremony at the White House and an emergency hearing on Ebola on Capitol Hill.
Her passion for journalism was greatly influenced by her experiences as a resident of New Orleans, LA, during Hurricane Katrina. In addition, she is a pop culture junkie with a healthy obsession for social media and Beyoncé.
